This is a map of the Cherry Grove area approved for dredging by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. It is now under permitting review by the US Army Corps of Engineers.

Holiday Sanitation Schedule: Friday, January 01, 2010 : ----Happy holidays! There are some schedule changes in sanitation pick up due to the holidays. Click the headline for the full holiday sanitation schedule.
Christmas Regatta: Saturday, November 28, 2009 : 5-7pm --Enjoy the annual Christmas Regatta on the Intracoastal Waterway. Viewing areas are from Dock Holidays Marina to Little River. For more information, contact the NMB Chamber of Commerce at (843) 281-2662.
Christmas Tree Lighting: Friday, December 04, 2009 : 6-8pm --Join us for the lighting of our 36-foot Christmas tree at McLean Park. Enjoy free entertainment, visits with Santa, hot chocolate and marvel as more than 2,700 lights light up the night sky.
Christmas Cantata (OD Presbyterian Church) : Saturday, December 05, 2009 : 3:30pm- --The Christmas Cantata is a North Myrtle Beach Tradition! The Cantata takes place on Dec. 5 at 3:30pm and on Dec. 6 at 3:30pm and 7pm. For more information, contact Ocean Drive Presbyterian at (843) 249-2312.
Pet Photos with Santa Paws: Saturday, November 21, 2009 : Call for appt. - --Bring your pets to Wags & Whiskers for some holiday cheer! Call(843) 280-7686 to schedule your pet's appointment for a picture with Santa Paws on Nov. 21 and Dec. 5. Proceeds benefit the Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach.
