Mayor Marilyn Hatley served five years on the City Council of North Myrtle Beach. She is a graduate of the Beaux’s Art College of Cosmetology. She also attended the University of South Carolina and received a Teacher’s Methods Certificate. She is a Certified cosmetology teacher and Owner of Visible Designs, Inc. for 30 years. Mayor Hatley studied classical piano for 10 years, competing on local, state and national levels. Mayor Hatley has been actively involved for many years in community service through her work in the North Myrtle Beach Woman’s Club and numerous charitable organizations. Married for 36 years to David Hatley, they have one son and one beautiful granddaughter, Amelia. Hobbies include exercising, water aerobics, piano and playing with granddaughter Amelia.
