NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- The City of North Myrtle Beach responded to a sanitary sewer force main break that occurred late Monday evening, June 16, in a wooded area at the end of Buffkin Road, adjacent to West Port Drive.
The Public Works Department has successfully completed the repair, and cleanup operations are expected to be finished by the end of today (Tuesday, June 17). Out of an abundance of caution, we ask that the public avoid the wooded area through Saturday, June 21.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work to ensure the area is fully restored.
For any questions or concerns, please contact the North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Works at (843) 280-5500.
