Solid Waste Transfer Station Off-Season Hours

City Seal

Effective October 3, the City’s Solid Waste Transfer Station is open 7:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The City tracks Transfer Station use and during the non-peak months most weekend visits occur prior to 12:00 p.m.

The Transfer Station’s Monday-Friday hours remain the same at 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

City of North Myrtle Beach sanitation customers who have a need to dispose of household garbage or other items beyond their normal collection days may bring bagged garbage, recyclables, yard waste, and e-waste to the City’s Solid Waste Transfer Station at 1220 Second Avenue South.

The transfer station does not accept waste from contractors and will only accept waste from current City sanitation customers.

Reminder: There are no public dumpsters in North Myrtle Beach, only private dumpsters. Private dumpsters are not for public use. They are for the use of the person(s), HOAs, POAs, companies or other entities that pay for them.
