NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Come join family and friends for the 5th Annual North Myrtle Beach Junior Lifeguard Games on Saturday, August 6.
On Saturday, starting at 9 a.m., members of the NMB Junior Lifeguard Camp, will take part in the 5th Annual Junior Lifeguard Games. The event is for youth ages 9-15 that love the ocean and want to learn about beach safety. Participants from the City’s two Summer Lifeguard Camps in 2022 will be able to have fun and enjoy three events:
- Mock Rescue Race
- Run-Swim-Run Relay
- Beach Flags
Beach Flags is a game loved by lifeguards worldwide. It involves sprinting in the sand through elimination rounds like the game musical chairs.
Families of Junior Lifeguards as well as the public are welcome to watch the Junior Lifeguard Games, held on Saturday, August 6th at 9 a.m. at Main Street Beach in North Myrtle Beach.
