Nathan Marker began his career in the Fire Service as a part-time Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician in 2006 with Butler Township Fire Department located in Dayton, Ohio. In 2008, he joined Clearcreek Fire District in Springboro, Ohio as a part-time employee. Later that year, he became a NREMT Paramedic for both agencies. He moved to South Carolina in 2009 where he began full time employment with Horry County Fire Rescue. Nathan started with the City of North Myrtle Beach in 2014 as a Firefighter before being promoted to Lieutenant in the Fire Training Division in 2017.

Education
Lieutenant Marker holds an Associate of Science Degree in Fire Science from Sinclair Community College and is currently enrolled at Columbia Southern University working towards a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Safety and Health with a concentration in Fire Science.
