Lieutenant Tom Bruce is a New Jersey native that joined the North Myrtle Beach Police Department in 2010 with 5 years of previous law enforcement experience. Lt. Bruce was a patrol officer and Field Training Officer until 2015 when he was promoted to Sergeant and assigned to a Uniform Patrol shift. In 2019, he was transferred to the Training Division to oversee the department’s professional development until 2022, when he was promoted to Lieutenant.
